Dear Brethren,

The 2024 Bible Students General Convention will be held in Johnstown, Pennsylvania from Saturday, July 20 through Thursday, July 25, 2024. We encourage you and the brethren in your area to prayerfully consider joining us for the convention. Colossians 1:27 has been selected as the Convention Theme Text: “…Christ in you, the hope of glory.”

The program includes a panel discussion on “Israel In Prophecy” as current events in the Middle East may point to prophecies yet to be fulfilled. Two special discourses are also planned. On Sunday evening “Clothe Yourself With Love” based on Colossians 3:14 and on Wednesday “Enduring To The End” taken from Jesus’ words in Matthew 24:13, “the one who endures to the end will be saved.”

On Monday evening, a discussion on the topic “Hastening The Day” will examine 2 Peter 3:12 in regard to the timing of the Kingdom. Other planned dialogue sessions include “In The World, But Not Of It”, referring to Jesus’ words recorded in John 17:16,18, and “For My Name’s Sake”, a consideration of the importance of that phrase as used by the Heavenly Father and our Lord Jesus. Other special program features are planned in addition to the above, to be detailed in coming months.

We anticipate the 2024 General Convention to be another rich season of blessing from the Lord.  May our loving Heavenly Father continue to guide and direct each of us as we seek to serve Him and His people.
